I've been climbing, scrambling and walking in the Scottish Highlands for over 20 years. I love overnight trips and always camp high. Watching the sun rising over the mountains from a summit never fails to bring me joy.

I love to test gear in real life use. Scotland offers very varied conditions which are perfect for testing. Camping high means I like to go light, so I often will test gear beyond it's expected limits.

I have a passion for mountain photography, so you'll see photos from every trip I make.

Despite the title of my site, I'm not limited to Scotland; I've also climbed in the French, Swiss and Austrian alps, the Bernese Oberland and the Dolomites.
