Sean O'Grady

Digital Media specialist and musician who has studied Journalism at Dublin City University. Over the past year I have diversified my abilities by studying Digital Technology, Business and Design with the Digital Skills Academy in the Dublin Institute of Technology and I'm now working as Content Marketing Strategist for a recruitment website based on UCD campus

I am very adaptive and focused in my work and can do so both on my own and as part of a team. I worked in Dundalk doing my college work experience INTRA (Integrated Learning) in the Argus newspaper. On completion of that module I worked as a regional journalist for the Dundalk Democrat newspaper. I have also undertaken a Radio Broadcasting course at Shannon Sound Northern Sound training studios in Monaghan. I hold a full clean driving licence.

Nominated for student of the year and received awards in History while in my Leaving Certificate year.
Recently obtained an online teaching certificate. This course was an Advanced TEFL (teaching English as foreign language) course awarded by Language link International ESOL which is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English.

I have undertaken the role of Tech Editor for the Dublin City University college newspaper 'The College View' and I was also the Assistant Sports Editor giving me valuable experience in the field of Journalism. . I have worked for a number of newspapers in the North-East of the country and feel my skills are best applied to the field of journalism, digital media and web authoring.
