Originally from Piedmont, Oklahoma, I moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1998 from Norman, Oklahoma where I was an Internet Programmer for Boeing Aerospace Operations and was involved in the very first enterprise wide .asp/VB system in Visual Studio 1.0. There I learned the full spectrum of ASP development and the stage was set for a prosperous development career. In 1999, I came to HMG to further hone my development skills on a wide variety of projects both in scope and technology. In my .asp/VB days, I led the development effort for web sites and applications such as NYLAARP.com, EAngler.com, ReloRes.com, and Seimens. I was lured away from HMG by the prospect of learning an up and coming technology on a very high profile project. I got involved with .NET at the inception of the technology during an aggressive communication project for Tauck World Discovery (tauck.com). There, I was on a team that developed the company's extranet system in VB.NET 1.0 and started on a .NET application on the compact framework. The application was to enable their tour operators to stay in touch with the home base at all times to keep their tours on schedule, maintain manifests, and stay in contact with the home systems. Tmy project was cut short due to the 9/11 attack on our country. I then landed on my feet with Arvida Realty Services as a System Architect where I developed the intranet for the company, including a time card entry and approval workflow system utilizing C#/.NET, SQL Server, Exchange, and LDAP. When Coldwell Banker purchased Arvida, my main task changed to being the data aggregator for the MLS's for the entire state of Florida. There were over 20 proprietary data formats from the various MLS systems which had ever changing formats and fields. I developed a system that could adapt to the changes, store and relate all the records to SQL Server, then create full-featured XML output which was then sent to the internet realty systems such as Realty.com and ColdwellBanker.com. Cendant bought out Coldwell Banker and shipped all IT functions to their home offices in New Jersey which led I back to Oklahoma. I led the architecture and development of high end applications that support the Dollar.com and Thrifty.com websites for the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc.(DTAG). The middle tier was my responsibility where I designed and implemented a series of XML web services in the .NET 1.1 framework to not only support the company's web sites, but also service DTAG's partne
