Selgowiros Caricnos

Hi there! My name is Selgowiros. It is not my birth name, but the equivalent to it in Gallic. Caricnos means son of the beloved and is a tribute to my father in a way (especially since the Gauls used patronymics). Gallic polytheist and heathen describes my religion.

Heathen too? Why, yes. I am also a Heathen. In fact, I was a Heathen first before a Galatis (A shorthand term for Gallic Polytheists). However this blog is not about heathenry. Don't worry, you won't read about me mixing practices. I keep them separate.

As a Galatis, just like the tagline reads, I am growing into this practice. This means that some of my practice may not be historically attested, and experimental with the numinous. I will never not specify if something is attested, reconstructed, or revived.

I live in the great state of Minnesota, with it's hills and 10,000 waters. It is my birth land, and I whole heartedly love it.

My hobbies include weight training, photography, painting, and of course on a minor scale, video games.
