Graduated as an exercise physiologist but decided instead to work as a writer. Am an Irish journalist with twenty years experience, working in that time for VeloNation.com, Cyclingnews and contributing to a number of magazines. I currently write about cycling for CyclingTips as its news editor, plus the Irish Times, Stickybottle.com and others. I also contribute to radio and TV programmes on RTE, Ireland's national broadcaster.
Future plans include living somewhere with more than three days sun a year, and writing books.
