"The only limit to our realization of tomorrow is our doubts of today." – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, I’ve always been driven by the belief that where you come from doesn’t define your destiny—it’s the strength, persistence, and vision you bring that does. As a first-generation American, my upbringing taught me that success is not defined by your circumstances but by the will to persevere and achieve. My Jamaican immigrant parents instilled in me a deep commitment to hard work, faith, and resilience. Their sacrifices made it possible for me to pursue my dreams.

I graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Social Work, a decision that would shape my future and allow me to help others in ways that align with my passion for social justice. At Morgan, I found confidence and a sense of belonging, meeting mentors who would guide me through the challenges I would face later in life. After earning my Master’s in Macro Social Work from University of Maryland, I worked as a Social Work Program Manager for a pilot program, which later expanded to create lasting support systems for families in crisis.

In my pursuit of justice, I attended law school at the University of Baltimore with a goal of combining social work and law to advocate for marginalized communities. After law school, I found my calling as a Parental Defense Attorney, working as a Public Defender in the Child Welfare System. The work is challenging but deeply fulfilling as I fight to ensure that the rights of parents and children are defended with integrity, particularly in a system often skewed against those without resources.

Alongside my legal career, I became a licensed real estate agent, committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of property ownership and build generational wealth. My mission in real estate goes beyond simply buying and selling properties—it’s about empowering families to create financial stability and a secure future through homeownership.

Mentorship: As a mentor for Innovative Works in Baltimore, I support and guide social entrepreneurs in developing innovative solutions that drive meaningful change and empower communities.
