Shannicia N. Love

Shannicia Love is a Michigan native, dedicated student and Social Media Coordinator. *_She resided in Washington, D.C. where she is earned a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Public Relations at the illustrious Howard University._* She is now chnaging her backdrop to the beautiful Atlanta, GA. where she plans on pursuing a career in social media management, digital marketing, or public relations.

After transitioning from Detroit suburbs, Shannicia was able to find her place in the nation's capital. She started working for Gabrielle Union through networking via Twitter in 2010. Lacking what she desired on a social media platform, Union immediately gravitated towards Shannicia because of her trustworthiness, honesty and dedication to supplementing her brand the best way possible.

Shannicia rebuilt from the ground up and redeveloped a website, AllGabrielleU.com, as a community for supporters of Union to ask questions and inquire about all things pertaining to the Being Mary Jane star. Shannicia is lead efforts in creating the best web space for all fans interested in education, philanthropy, fashion and much more on every level of social media. While simultaneously gaining a friend and mentor.

Her experience includes working with actors Hill Harper and Robinne Lee, celebrity fashion stylist Jason Bolden, and CEO of BPMW Deirdre Maloney in NYC. All as a part of her #Trailblazer campaign launched in 2012; a series of interviews highlighting extraordinary individuals, from all different backgrounds spearheading their communities in positive ways. Love has supplemented her experience as a social media coordinator with multiple endeavors. She currently is serving as Social Media Manager for Harlem's Fashion Row; a social company that connects designers of color to consumers through highly creative platforms. With much focus on beauty, education, and community service with content creation, social media and web development she has strengthened her experience and broadened her career options.

She has worked with ESSENCE Magazine, _BET_, 2013 BET Honors and many others to uphold her standards of social media excellence. She is firmly involved in the ongoing fight for Violence Against Women, Breast Cancer Awareness and RAINN (Rape Abuse & Incest National Network) striving to put an end to violence against all women worldwide.

Shannicia is committed to making a difference alongside every person she connects with through every social media platform and plans to be a part of the evolution of social media for years to come.
