Shari Francis is the Supply Chain Diversity Manager for Office Depot. She ensures the inclusion of historically underutilized businesses in Office Depot’s product assortment, while creating and executing the internal and external Supply Chain Diversity marketing and communication strategy. Shari spearheaded the industry’s first-ever catalog dedicated to products manufactured and/or distributed by certified diverse businesses, currently on its 3rd edition. Shari was honored as a 2011 Rising Star of South Florida by ICABA. She was also honored as a Woman of Power and a Champion of Diversity by Diversity Plus and one of the Top 100 Women Impacting Supplier Diversity by Women’s Enterprise. She is a 2010 recipient of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber’s Women’s Circle of Excellence Award. She is the Finance Committee Vice Chair Finance Committee for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the F.A.M.B.E.O. District IV Representative. Shari received a BS in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and a MS in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Realtor in Florida, a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity, and a Certified Purchasing Manager. She also recently became a Distinguished Toastmaster.
