Sharon Ann Lee

Hi, I'm a culture analyst, strategist and Millennials expert. I founded CultureBrain: a think tank on culture, trends and creativity. We study global culture, people and ideas that shift our opinions and habits. My training is in ethnography, Qualitative & Quantitative research, strategy and storytelling. I've also been at the forefront of youth culture and digital media for 15 years.

WORK: I help brands launch, reboot and connect with their audience in the most authentic way. I come up with the strategy and big idea that helps create game-changing marketing, products and content.

I also help Innovator companies understand macro trends that affect products, customers and culture.

CLIENTS: Virgin Mobile, Airwalk, HBO, Scion, VW, SKYY, Calvin Klein, Unilever, Playboy, Conde Nast, Telemundo, Disney, Mercedes, Coca Cola, Levi's, Apple, Netflix

PAST: Co-founded the 1st youth culture trends/marketing agency. Co-published 1st user generated arts magazine for and by young artists, writers & photographers. Conducted 1st national research study on Young Latino Americans.

PRESS: Featured in NY Times, Time Magazine, LA Times, Ad Age, MTV, CBS, CNN, PBS

PLAY: For fun, I make art, write, build creative ecosystems, and curate community events.

I'm passionate about redesigning the idea of "SUCCESS" to reflect our authentic identities. I gave a Creative Mornings talk on this topic that's been viewed 14K+ times.

I'm usually the only person at a party with the job title "Culture Analyst" so I explain it like this: I'm like a Jane Goodall for humans--compassionately researching our values, behaviors and feelings to understand what it means to be a human being living today.
