Sharon LaMothe is the Owner of LaMothe Services, LLC, an ART Business Assistant/Marketing Company, LaMothe Surrogacy Consulting, an informational service to educate surrogates and first time Intended Parents in the sometimes overwhelming process of Traditional and Gestational Surrogacy, and Owner of Infertility Answers.net an educational website for those researching Third Party Family Building. Sharon also owned and operated her own Surrogacy Agency for over 5 years. She has had personal experience being a Gestational Surrogate twice by giving birth to two sets of twins. She has contributed to the field of Third Party Reproduction for over 16 years. Sharon's educational background includes a Social Services major which encompassed classes in Crisis Identification and Intervention, Interviewing and Counseling, Communication in Groups and Organizations. She has offered her expertise by holding round table discussions and speaking on the topic of Surrogacy for StartART, RESOLVE, ASRM, Fertile Dreams, AATB, Microsoft and by arranging staff development luncheons and meetings with various clinics, hospitals and law offices. She sits on several boards and is a current member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Seattle Tacoma Area Reproductive Society. Sharon is the author of the book Surrogacy Helps Make a Family Grow! written for the children of surrogate mothers.
