Shawn Bolan

Shawn Bolan of Omaha is a Technical Instructor at New Horizons Computer Training in Omaha. He has been in the IT industry for 10 years and brings a wealth of experience as an instructor and system engineer to his classroom delivery.
Shawn specializes in Windows networking technology with an emphasis in Active Directory, VBScripting, security and systems management. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer as well as having earned the MCSE certification in Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003.In addition to the MCSE credential, Shawn holds numerous other certifications including MSCE: Security, MCSA: Security, MCDST, MCP+I, Security+, A+, Network+ and the Cisco CCNA.
Shawn believes that effective learning is a collaborative process, learning goes far beyond the instructor delivering a lecture. He emphasizes the concept that together we know more than any one person does individually. With this in mind he strives to bring the class together in order to best meet and exceed the needs of each individual student.
