Sheala Vast-Binder

St. Louis

I have an M.A. in Religion with a concentration in World Religions. Over the years, I have worked as a college campus minister, Christian writer and editor, grant researcher and writer, media specialist, social services program coordinator, and non-profit director. I currently live in St. Louis, MO, with my husband and son.

As a cross-cultural coach and author, my passion is to build bridges between people of different cultures and to meet the practical needs of Internationals. I enjoy providing the resources and guidance Internationals need to successfully adjust to life in the U.S. I especially like working with people who desire strong relationships, seek personal or familial growth, and love to learn!

I also serve as the director of St. Louis (STL) Global Friends, a program of iFACEMinistries. In this position, I support International friendship and cross-cultural learning throughout the St. Louis metro area. I particularly enjoy the exploration of faith issues and am privileged to do this in fellowship with others.

For leisure, I garden, walk, and relax with my family and friends. I love traveling and am an avid reader! I enjoy mysteries, sci-fi, and fantasy--adult, youth, and juvenile. I also enjoy Christian theology and most things related to the faith of other people. I love learning!
