Sherry Grooms

I am a native of the Tampa Bay Area and a resident of Manatee County for over 30 years. I know how important "Customer Service" is, my background consist of retail, public relations, business development and marketing. Linked with continuing Real Estate education, my experience gives me a broad range of qualifications to be your full service REALTOR.

An extensive background in real estate and the real estate industry for 16 years. I was awarded the 2014 Manatee Association of REALTORS “REALTOR of the Year” and gained the local, regional and national spotlight as the last president of the Manatee Association of REALTORS and the leading member of the merger with the Sarasota Association of REALTORS forming The Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee. As a licensed REALTOR, I have an extensive background in internet sales and marketing and completed her e-PRO Internet Professional certification and recognized as a leader in the practice of Online Real Estate. In 2009 I earned the Manatee Association President’s Award, in 2011 the Distinguished Service Award and from 2005-2013 received the Professional REALTOR Institute of Manatee designation (PRIM) for her dedication to education, politics and committee efforts at the local, state and national levels. On the state level of the Florida Realtors Association, I have received the Honor Society Award from 2006-2014.

A Women’s Council of REALTORS member since 2001 serving on the Governing Board for Women’s Council of REALTORS for nine years and was Local Chapter President for the Manatee Chapter in 2003. Women's Council of REALTORS also presented her with the 2001 Rising Star award, 2005 Humanitarian Award, 2006 Mentor of the Year, 2007, Founders Award, 2009 Founders Award & President's Award, 2005 - 2010 Honor Circle Award, 2010 Founders Award, 2013 Honor Award.
