Shyla is a Communications graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University, who currently spends time as a Community Manager at 411.ca leveraging social media to engage Canadian internet users. Prior to working at 411.ca, Shyla worked at internet startup Site Technologies, conducting market research for their first business plan.
Shyla’s passions revolve around children and education. Shyla believes that there are many pressing problems – and therefore opportunities – for improving the education system in Canada. Coming from an entrepreneurial family, Shyla believes the solution lies in innovation within the education system through social entrepreneurship.
