Shynkalia Davis

Hello!

My name is Shynkalia Davis, most people just call me Kalia. I'm from a small, country town named Robersonville, NC (just minutes away from Greenville, NC).

I'm a current Senior, studying at North Carolina Central University. I've just changed my major from Exercise Sport Science to Psychology. I wanted to enter into a field that would enable be to be more personable and helpful. I gain pleasure in seeing the smiles and looks of appreciation in others.

My goal is to become a Counseling and/or Clinical Psychologist in the U.S Army. I am an active cadet in Army ROTC at Duke University. I received a 3 year scholarship during the end of my Freshman year and I have been enjoying the program every since. After graduation, I plan to further my education and obtain a PhD. After earning a PhD, I will then begin my service obligation to the Army. I will enter into the Medical Service Corps as a Captain, serving as an Army Psychologist where ever I'm needed.
