Simon Garber

Simon Garber is the president of Yellow Cab SLSJET Management, a medallion-management business based in Long Island City, New York. In this capacity, he is responsible for building a customer base, directing company operations, and leading the more-than-50-person staff. Since starting at the company in 2003, he has implemented quality control measures that result in high-quality workmanship and has grown the company’s customer base through positive referrals and customer trust. With more than two decades of experience in automotive management, Simon Garber has proven his leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Prior to his current career, Symon Garber served as the president of Manhattan Taxi Maintenance. He worked at the company for nearly two decades, starting in 1986, and was responsible for everything from implementing the business plan and staffing the 20,000-square-foot facility to designing and equipping its state-of-the-art service center. Additionally, Mr. Garber spearheaded the merger of two medallion-management companies, growing them into the one of the most productive fleets in the city. He handled all financial decisions of that company and was responsible for tracking employee efficiency.
