Siyasanga Ntozini
Student, Teacher, and Chef in Johannesburg
Greetings. My name is Siyasanga, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in IsiZulu and Physical Education. I am a passionate, dedicated, and goal-driven individual who strongly believes in the power of education to transform lives and communities.
I consider myself a lifelong learner, always eager to grow personally and professionally. I am especially passionate about inclusive education, where all learners regardless of background or ability are valued and supported. My goal is to become an educator who not only teaches but also inspires, uplifts, and creates safe, empowering learning environments.
Technology is another area I’m passionate about. I enjoy exploring how digital tools can enhance teaching and learning, and I believe technology, when used ethically, can help close gaps in access and opportunity especially in under-resourced communities.
Outside of academics, I enjoy cooking and baking, which I see as both a creative outlet and a way to bring people together. Sharing food with family and friends is something I value deeply, as it strengthens bonds and creates lasting memories. I also love reading, especially books that expand my thinking and deepen my understanding of education and personal development.
At my core, I value empathy, service, and integrity. I’m committed to making a meaningful impact not only in the classroom but also in my community. I believe small actions, guided by passion and purpose, can lead to real, lasting change.
As I continue on this journey, my vision is to become a well-rounded, socially conscious educator who leads with compassion, promotes inclusivity, and uses innovation to support and uplift every learner I encounter.
