Sherna is the Executive Director and Founder for O.A.B.I.: Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals, A National Youth Award Recipient, Public Speaker and Advocate.

She has training as a Victim Advocate and Leadership trainer in victim advocacy and is a student at The University of the West Indies Open Campus.She is a prolific speaker and presenter who also has a passion for women's empowerment, youth development, the environment, the arts, theater and film.

Many call her a visionary, Unsung Hero, Humble Servant, a social activist for the poor and marginalized. She is termed the voice for the voiceless in many communities.

Sherna is also one of the most open and frank survivours you will ever meet.She launched 'The Innocence Project Initiative' in her country to bring national awareness to the abuse and death of children, women and men. She also holds the position of vice president for Starlite for Humanity Foundation and networks with Break the Silence: end child sexual abuse among many others.

Sherna Alexander Benjamin is known as the Founder and President of O.A.B.I.: Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals. She is by proffession a Victims Advocate and Leadership trainer with an emphasis on Abuse prevention, training and human development. In August of 2014 she was given a national youth award by The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development for placing first in the 'Youth Alley' category.
