3ruce Smith is a decorated U.S. Air Force disabled veteran with a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community development. Following a distinguished military career, 3ruce Smith served as a Department of Defense Federal Firefighter, retiring with honor after 25 years of dedicated service in fire protection and emergency response.

Leveraging his extensive experience in public safety and leadership, he transitioned into entrepreneurship in 2005, founding the largest independent residential and commercial inspection company in the Alabama. His passion for excellence and attention to detail have positioned his firm as the benchmark in inspection services as a Certified Master Inspector and a Certified Commercial Property Inspector.

In addition to his success in real estate inspection, 3ruce is a founder of Flashover Cigars, a boutique cigar line that blends craftsmanship and culture, and Smith Legacy Trucking, a logistics company operating under the holding company Silverback Incorporated, which manages a growing portfolio of business ventures.

Academically, 3ruce holds degrees in Leadership and Management, Occupational Safety and Health, and Fire Science, underscoring his commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Deeply involved in civic and philanthropic efforts, 3ruce serves as the Vice President of 100 Black Men of Metro Birmingham, an organization dedicated to mentoring and uplifting young men of color. He is also the Director of Bethesda Community Development Center, where he works to improve community resources and outreach, and the founder of God’s Promises, a nonprofit organization focused on providing hope, support, and services to underserved communities.

He is also an active member of Cigar Men of Distinction, a network of professionals who share a passion for fine cigars and fellowship.
