Jessy Smith is an American dancer, choreographer, and site-specific performance artist. Born and raised in Hudson, Ohio, Smith graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In her senior year, her choreography titled POW!, a girl-power action adventure dance piece, won her a spot on DTW's Family Matter's program. She titled her all female company POW! and together they dug out a pop art niche in the dance world, eventually creating The Choreokay Show, an interactive karaoke experience with vocal artists and live back-up dances.

Her concepts drove her further into the variety scene and she eventually formed a bubbly trio called The Good to Go Girls. Their sexy and humorous skits are presented at venues across the city including The BOXNYC, Joe's Pub, Webster Hall and The Spring Street Social Society.

In 2012, Smith was cast as the White Queen in Third Rail Project's Bessie Award winning show, Then She Fell. She continues to work with Third Rail and has been a collaborating artist in many of the company's immersive productions including YOLK, Memento Mori, The Grand Paradise, Ghost Light and Behind the City.

Smith has also developed herself as a solo artist. She landed three major roles in 2014, as a re-occurring burlesque performer on season 5 of Boardwalk Empire, as a Secrets in Lace pin-up model for Lingerie Fashion Week, and also as a dancer in "Cheek to Cheek Live," a PBS great masters series starring Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
