Katherine is a licensed marriage and family therapist, divorce mediator, and the founder of Manhattan Family Group. A leading professional working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, Katherine's areas of specialty include divorce mediation, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, ADD/ADHD coaching, anxiety and mood disorders, and pre-marital counseling.

Katherine's practice is supported by an eclectic and extensive academic and professional background that includes four graduate degrees - including an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy - and experience working as a high school English teacher and guidance counselor. She balances compassion with common sense to help her clients proactively resolve their issues and live their best lives.

Katherine’s advanced clinical training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples (Ackerman Institute), divorce mediation (Ackerman Institute), psychoanalytic group therapy (Postgraduate Center for Mental Health), and family therapy (Ackerman Institute).

Katherine is also an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), The International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), and the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (EGPS).
