Sofiene Khachnaoui

Sofiene Khachnaoui presently harnesses his experience in building automation and engineering management for Siemens AG in Washington, D.C. There, Mr. Khachnaoui oversees the installation of building automation systems, or networks of monitoring and control equipment that manage the electrical and mechanical operations of a building. He is also tasked with the engineering design and software writing of such projects, for which he allocates job responsibilities and troubleshoots any issues. Sofiene Khachnaoui previously developed his expertise in building automation while at Johnson Controls, Inc., from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Khachnaoui’s work with the internationally diversified industrial and technology leader involved the management of various aspects of building automation on a project basis. He also developed engineering drawings and software while hiring and overseeing project contractors. Sofiene Khachnaoui received multiple awards for his efforts with Johnson Controls, Inc. As Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy, Mr. Khachnaoui was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, from 2003 to 2007 after attending the University of Maryland. Sofiene Khachnaoui maintains professional affiliation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the USO, a private government-recognized organization dedicated to supporting U.S. troops and their families, as well as NASA, for which he has performed lead system specialist duties in the past.
