Founder of «REBEL ACT - Creative Industries» specialized in corporate video and multimedia production, Sónia Laima is a visual content designer.
In 2009 she debuted as screenwriter in her first documentary: «Paredes Meias». First shown in the official selection of Doc Lisboa 09 this film regards a social house project designed by Siza Vieira. Awarded with the AICA/ PARQUE EXPO 2009 this doc was co-produced by RTP 2 and is being showed in worldwide festivals.
Master in Cool Hunting by ESCS, Lisbon, as well as Master in Migrations and Globalization trends by UNL, Lisbon, Sónia Laima is specialized in identity trends/ stereotyping. She was invited to follow for Ph.d.
For 4 years Sónia integrated Gestmusic/ Endemol as content developer and became script coordinator of «Prós & Contras», RTP 1 (major information debate show in Portugal).
A great experience in media, where she was deputy editor-in- chief, content editor/developer and journalist in TV programs as well as in press publications background her.
English is her second language. She is fluent in French and speaks regular Italian.
