I am one of the first African American women to receive a full basketball scholarship to Wake Forest University, a division one school. I received my BA in Mass Communications & Theatre Arts. I played on the first professional women's basketball team (NWBA) in Charlotte, NC. Later, I went to Europe and played on a professional women's division one basketball team for several years. I also taught & coached at St. John's International School. While in Europe, I also reconnected with my passion for music. The very first song I wrote, (The Atmosphere That Surrounds Me). became #1 on the dance charts in several countries. Due to family commitments, I returned to the states to care for family members. After 20 years, I'd like to return to Europe and reconnect with my fans and also build new ones with a tour.
