Tegan Spinner
I am a sophomore double major Industrial Design and Computer Engineering student at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, an institution nationally recognized for both its engineering and design programs. I am very proficient in tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, skilled in css, and html design, I have a basic knowledge of C++ programing through Microsoft Visual Studio, xml design and Magento store management. I would also consider myself an advanced user of the Microsoft office suite, and a person with very strong and professional communication skills.
At my previous job NADA Scientific, I was the senior graphic designer for their publications that were distributed nationwide. I was expected to have a strong knowledge of color interactions, printing processes, publishing software, and the ability to not only work on, but to demonstrate myself as a leader of a team.
Some of my “soft skills” have been developed over time as well. I am a Middle College Student Leader at RIT, was a National Youth Leadership participant, and in my freshman year of college was picked captain of a D1 Intramural soccer team. I am known for my skills with people and ability to communicate concepts in both a clear and engaging manner, a valuable asset to any team.
