Sriram started learning music at an early age of 6 under
Vid. Sumathi Raghunandan. Music has been an integral part of this young champ. Currently he is pursuing Indian Classical Music Under the able guidance of Vid.Meenakshi Ravi and Vid.Madhu Kashyap. He is also pursuing Drums under Vid.Sukumar babu,Vid.Arun Kumar, Percussions under Pramath Kiran,Indian Rhythms under Vid.T.N. Shashi Kumar.
As a singer, Sriram has been winning awards for excellence and
performing at competitions all through his childhood. He has given Music
therapies to foreign audience under the guidance of his guru-Vid.Meenakshi
Ravi. Sriram has rendered his voice for many Musical Plays,Animation Movies,
And a diverse range of Characters from Vedic roles to Normal life.He has
performed at India's No.1 Fest-Mood Indigo hosted by IIT Mumbai, Kerala,Hydrabad,Pune, And various other venues within the state with various bands, DJ's and solos. He has performed and been a part of summer camps for corporatesincluding Mindtree , Mphasis, etc.He also sang a theme song for SandalwoodMusic Director-V.Manohar and Director Girish Yelamili for the movie "ChintuSchool ". Sriram has composed music and performed for Red FM 93.5 for the show" Music Adda".Recently, he was also featured on Radio Mirchi for the show
"Naanu Kooda RJ" on the occasion of Mirchi Music Awards 2012.
Though Sriram started learning drums at the age of 15,he has
already created a buzz in the field. He was Falicitated by Ace drummer
Kalaimamani A.Sivamani and Jazz Mastero Ranjit Barot in the year 2010,2011
respectively.As a drummer and percussionist he's known for his collection of
rare instruments. Besides drums,Sriram wishes to specialize in a Spanish
Instrument called-"Cajon" (pronounced "ka-hoon").This young musician drives inspiration from his virtual guru-Ranjit Barot and Western ethnic percussionist Vladishwar Nadishana.His Interpretation of the Cajon has made him perform with his guru-Vid.T.N.Shashi Kumar for various bhajans and stages.Sriram's singing and Drumming skills has got him acclaims over News,Paper,Radio.
His most recent asset to his musical career was sharing the stage with Percussion Legends like Ghatam Giridhar Udupa,Arun Kumar,Pramath Kiran,Ulur Jayachandra Rao And Many Legends At The 50th Ganesh Utsav Bangalore for The Percussion Ensemble "ThaDhim".
