My interests centre on children’s rights, peacebuilding, art for social change, and post-conflict development in Africa. I believe creativity can be a powerful tool for healing, connection, advocacy, and social change.

My Master’s research explored the reintegration of former child soldiers and post-conflict community development in northern Uganda.

I am grateful to serve as Communications Director for Young Peacebuilders, Registrar and Operations Manager with the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy (WHEAT) Institute, and as a Board Member with Bridging Villages.

I have also had the privilege of volunteering as the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation Regional Representative for War Child Canada; and with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and KIDS Initiative.

When I am not working or volunteering, you will likely find me practicing yoga, making art, reading, or spending time with my dog.
