Stephanie Ercegovic

Stephanie Ercegovic is President and a Senior Macro Analyst at Discovery Capital Management, a $12B investment firm that specializes in multi-asset class investing across global financial markets - emerging and developed. She was appointed President in October 2012 and in this role she chairs a team that leads the strategic initiatives at the firm. She is also chair of the Firm’s Key Man Event Committee. In her capacity as a Senior Macro Analyst, Ms. Ercegovic is focused on conducting research on global fixed income, with a specialty in local interest rates, and generating investment ideas for the Firm. With 30 years of experience in investment banking, Stephanie Ercegovic came to Discovery Capital after 25 years with JP Morgan, where she served in a number of senior management roles including managing director and global head of prime brokerage, client manager, and head of sales and global syndicate for the emerging markets fixed income business. In tandem with her work at Discovery, Stephanie Ercegovic plays an active role in the community through her support of a wide range of philanthropic organizations. Ms. Ercegovic has been a sponsor of Yale Cancer Center Gynecologic Oncology Program, Discovery to Cure for the past 7 years. As a co- chair of Discovery to Cure, she is active in fund raising and in developing outreach programs to raise awareness for the symptoms of the disease. Ms Ercegovic is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, which is hosting the 16th Annual Super Saturday fund raising event in the Hamptons on Saturday July 27, 2013. Ms. Ercegovic also served on the committee for the 90th Anniversary Benefit and Gala, Paint it Black, for the Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, Connecticut . Keith Richards and Patti Hansen were the honorary chairs and the creative black tie celebration was to support Silvermine’s student outreach and scholarship programs. She has also a supporter of the Champions of Youth Awards Dinner, an annual event held by Empower. Ms. Ercegovic earned her B. S degree from Carnegie Mellon University as well a her Master of Science of Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
