Stephen M. Timms

Holding a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA in international business from California State University, Northridge, Stephen M. Timms is a proven business development professional and managing director in the defense industry. With more than 20 years of business development experience, he is familiar with functions ranging from program management and strategy planning to relationship management and proposal writing. A former civilian engineering technician for the U.S. Navy, Stephen M. Timms spent more than a decade working at Hughes Aircraft Company in various positions of increasing responsibility.

Currently, Stephen M. Timms is the vice president of strategic programs at International Golden Group in Abu Dhabi. He is responsible for managing the group’s high technology programs and growing the overall business. Prior to his engagement with International Golden Group, he lived in Kuala Lumpur for three and a half years while fulfilling a work assignment. To date, Stephen M. Timms has visited 36 different countries, citing Asian locales as his most-favored destinations. He is particularly interested in studying Thai customs, and he is currently researching charities in Thailand to identify trustworthy organizations to support.
