Experienced medical professional Dr. Stephen J. Marks serves as vascular neurologist at Neurology Associates of Westchester in Hawthorne, New York. Dr. Stephen J. Marks also is a professor of clinical neurology at the New York Medical College (NYMC) where he graduated with a doctor of medicine degree in 1980.

Prior to his current work, Dr. Stephen Marks served as the administrative director, stroke center and neurovascular program, at Westchester Medical Center and co-chief, section of cerebrovascular disease, at NYMC. He also served as an instructor in the Bio-ethics Institute at NYMC until 2016. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in adult neurology and neuro-vascular neurology.

Dr. Marks received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the graduating class of medical students of NYMC 17 times. He also was elected a Best Doctor in the Castle Connoly Guide for 20 years. Outside of the office, Dr. Marks enjoys skiing and windsurfing.
