Steve Carroll serves as a teacher and coach for the Alvord Unified School District, which includes the western section of Riverside, CA. With more than 35 years of experience, Steve Carroll brings a long list of successes to his position in Riverside, CA.

Steve Carroll was a standout athlete in high school, achieving distinction as a three-sport, three-year letterman in track, basketball, and football. He was also named an all-state player in basketball as a senior. In college, he received the Jack Wolfe Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to the top physical education student at the University of Kansas.

Once he began working as a school coach, Steve Carroll led multiple teams to championships. He won both district and bi-district championships for the first time in the history of Rice High School in Altair, Texas. At Bishop Montgomery High School, he was the first individual to simultaneously coach division one track, basketball, and football in the state of California. At San Gorgonio High School, he took the football team to the playoffs, a feat the team hadn't achieved in 32 years. In Riverside, CA, Steve Carroll continues build upon these successes with the goal of helping students not just achieve, but overachieve, and not just be respected, but be well-respected by their peers and the community.
