Wanted to be a librarian, archaeologist, or anthropologist, but grew up in the exciting world of home computers, Tomorrow's World, and the promise of a United Federation of Planets.

Unsurprisingly, with a childhood obsession with taking things apart, ended up working in technology too. From apprentice to manager, the technologies may change, but the need to understand never fades.

Read too many books in my own time, fascinated by culture, art, science, history, everything in between. The world is such an interesting place, knowledge so precious. Live in Birmingham, surviving on hot beverages and broadband.
