Steve Slepcevic

For three decades, Steve Slepcevic has supported communities throughout the United States in recovering from disasters. The founder of Disaster Summit Conferences of Los Angeles, he organizes gatherings where business and property owners come together to learn about disaster preparation and recovery best practices. An advocate for those affected by disaster, Steve Slepcevic also frequently works to ensure insurance policyholders receive just compensation.

Steve Slepcevic has additionally provided on-the-ground support by rebuilding communities following disasters and contributing to the restoration of thousands of properties. As a rapid-response professional, he has arrived with his first-responder team on the scene of each major storm that has hit American shores since the late 1980s. In recognition of his work, he was named Storm Hero of the Year by his peers in the disaster industry.

When not helping others, Mr. Slepcevic enjoys spending time with his family at home in Southern California. For recreation, he plays music and stays physically active through skiing and surfing.
