Steven Rankin II

Born in Orange County, California; raised in Fenton, Missouri; and matured in San Diego, CA; I would call myself a Calimissourian. Both regions have shaped who and what I have become.

Attending high school in rural, backwards part of this country, I decided to leave for the West Coast. Attending While at San Diego State University, I learned a skill and matured as a person. I practiced Graphic Design for 7 years and learned Marketing initiatives.

10 years in San Diego proved to be a more-than-adequate time spent there, and I decide to move to Bay Area. My initial reason was to pursue an MBA in Integrated Marketing. One year in that program, deciding I am more passionate about coding and technology, I moved into a technical program. Now I am in the thick of it.

More than a Graphic Designer and future technologist, I am a soccer player, hiker, road biker, painter, and closet inventor. I am an aspiring kayaker and downhill mountain biker. Most of life has been focused around sports and art. A rare combo that has me stuck in limbo between the almost contradictory fields.
Personally, I have met the best girl in the world. I spend my days trying to live up to her standards. We are in Santa Cruz now, trying not to kill each other on a nightly basis, I love her.
