Steven Lamar commands an impressive resume. Graduating from San Diego State University in 1992, he holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. With over 20 years of extensive business leadership experience and a background in investment banking, hedge fund management, private-equity investing, and small-cap public market investing, Steven Lamar boasts a full array of technical, financial, organizational, and business-oriented skills. Presently operating from California, he commands a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of executive management.

Currently, Steven Lamar serves as Director and Chief Operating Officer of Allied Container Services, Inc. (ACS). The company provides customizable containerized solutions for use toward an array of purposes across the commercial, military, disaster relief, law enforcement, and educational sectors. Steven Lamar joined the Pleasant Hill, California-based corporation in 2006 as Senior Vice President. Among other ongoing responsibilities in his present capacity with ACS, he supervises every financial aspect of the corporation, including the realms of budgeting, tax returns, risk management, reporting, sales, and marketing.

Prior to his tenure with ACS, Steven Lamar served as President of SLS International, Inc. He directed the Springfield, Missouri-based small-cap public consumer electronics corporation between 2005 and 2006. SLS also serves as a portfolio investment enterprise within BayStar Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund project co-founded by Mr. Lamar that concentrates on investments across late-stage private and early-stage public businesses. Acting as Managing Partner of BayStar between 1998 and 2005, Steven Lamar maintained responsibility for all company operations. As a result of his extensive financial acumen, BayStar generated a 177% return on investors’ capital between 1999 and 2005. Since embarking on his career in 1990, he has occupied a variety of high-level roles in the realms of business and finance.
