I'm a Denverite that dreams of naming his firstborn child Edamame. When I'm not riding my bike, I'm usually (1) on the Internet, (2) writing/editing/performing my or someone else's works, (3) watching any kind of athletic competition I can, or (4) singing Fats Waller songs in all kinds of places, including libraries and bathtubs.

In past parts of this life I've worked at the highest levels of national political campaigns, traveled to Communist countries, helped run the sports blogosphere, appeared on the Oxygen Channel, and caddied for Joe Montana.

Other pursuits include bikes, the 1890s, movies, food, Buddhism, comic books, P.G. Wodehouse, technology, and traveling. If I had more time in my life I would get into metalworking.
