Suzanne K. Wilson

I am a mother of two fabulous children, and a doctoral student at the University of Washington studying Nurse Midwifery. I have an MPH in Global Health and am MPA (Public Administration) with a focus in NGO management. I am an advocate for improving maternal and child health in the US and abroad. I have spent several years of my life living in Kenya, working to increase access to health and education programs in particularly resource-poor settings. As part of this work, I founded and led an international NGO in Kenya (the East African Center). I am proud of all that this organization has accomplished and am deeply grateful to all of those who have helped ensure its realization and ongoing success.

In my spare time I enjoy baking (bread), hiking, camping, bicycling, yoga, meditation, reading, listening to music and investing my time in establishing a loving and peaceful community of dear friends and colleagues.
