My life has always seemed to revolve around fitness. My involvement has varied from messing around in the gym with my friends (mostly enjoying the sauna and hot tub), to full-fledged college track athlete at Azusa Pacific University. Entering college, I didn't realize that all of my health related hobbies would evolve into a passion, and desired career.

Upon arriving at college, I started off with a college meal plan ruining my stomach. As a child meat had always upset my stomach, so I automatically ruled out the school meat, and became a vegetarian. This destroyed my track career- I developed an iron deficiency, and became very lethargic and unable to recover during practice- thinking about walking home, or homework after was practically impossible. On top of that, I developed two stress fractures, benching me for the rest of my season.

Ever since learning about proper nutrition, and supplementation, as well as running and lifting form has been essential to my success as an athlete. It's taken a lot to get me to the healthy and strong point that I am at today, but it never could have happened without my support system, my studies, and my faith. It is my passion to take the wisdom and science that I've learned and experienced through my own health journey, and use it to enable others on their own health journeys.

Ultimately, it is my dream to someday create my own business in corporate wellness- providing and accommodating new innovative ideas and health options, that not only benefit workers, but entire companies and benefactors as well.

In the meantime, I have received my CPT (Certified Personal Training Certificate), train a high school track athlete after school, and contribute toshe is well.(sheiswellsite.wordpress.com)a site created to bring health inspiration to other women who lead busy lifestyles. I enjoy filling the rest of my time with my family, and friends, laughter, lots of coffee, and random adventures.
