Having pioneered distributed organizing tactics as global coordinator of Adbusters' Buy Nothing Day in the late nineties, Tom went on to spend time in academia and the private sector, where he developed expertise in social media marketing and online stakeholder dialogue.
Now back to his principal passion, he helps social movements and causes gain traction through the application of new networked strategies.
To share knowledge openly with other campaigners, Tom bottom-lines the Blueprints for Change project with an awesome crew of volunteer helpers.
