A New Yorker for over twenty years, Tom is passionate about helping people find their own piece of this amazing city. Tom began his real estate career in 2007, working with buyers and sellers in all areas of Manhattan, from first-time buyers to investors, from studio apartments to high-end luxury properties. In addition to his experience in Manhattan, Tom is a resident of Brooklyn, and his knowledge and enthusiasm for “The Borough of Trees” is an asset for anyone buying or selling across the bridges.

Tom also has a background in the arts. He is a produced playwright and lyricist as well as a member of the world famous BMI Musical Theatre Writers Workshop. He also enjoys time spent with his easy going French Bulldog and with “George”, a nine year old Red-Fronted Macaw. Tom Stuart is a lyricist and book-writer who has successful collaborations with composers Jeff Hardy, Ben Green and Stuart McMeans among others.

n my career in the theatre I've been fortunate to work closely with some of my generation's finest Broadway professionals, including: Susan Stroman (Director -The Producers), Des McAnuff (Director-Jersey Boys), Stephen Oremus (Musical Supervisor-Wicked), Wayne Cilento (Choreographer-Wicked), Paul Gemignani (Musical Director-Original Sweeney Todd), Phil McKinley (Director- Spider Man) and I have acted opposite some of Broadway’s best leading ladies, including Emily Skinner, Jenn Colella, and TONY Award winners Kristin Chenoweth and Sutton Foster.

My first serious writing project was the '80s mix-tape musical KIDS IN AMERICA, which premeired at the Triad Theatre in NYC in 2002. This coming of age story, set in the virtual 1980s, was produced regionally as I WANT MY '80S MUSICAL! and had a successful run at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.

I was accepted into the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop as a lyricist in 2006 and I continue to be a member of the prestigious Advanced Songwriter's Workshop as well as a member of the Libretest Workshop. I've established some of my most succesful collaborations here, including my work with Stuart McMeans (PORTION CONTROL AND OTHER FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS) and Andy Monroe (BLIND LOVE).

In 2009 my book for the prog-rock musical RAINBOW AROUND THE SUN premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and included two songs written in collaboration with the show’s
