Hello! I am TaMyah, I'm a college freshmen majoring in Fashion and Retails Studies.

Strengths Quest was a helpful tool I used to identify my five personal strengths. My top strengths I find most relevant are command, individualization, and strategic. I am never afraid to take charge and initiate action. Without my commanding abilities much would not be accomplished. Although I take charge I am also a great team player. I have the natural ability to build the ultimate team, perfect for any situation and solve any problem thrown my way. I believe these strengths are really positive attributes and characteristics to have in order to be most successful. These skills impact all aspects of my life and allow for me to be the best I can possibly be.

As a college freshman I found that scheduling classes can become quite frustrating. The curriculum plan activities were very helpful tools I used to map out my college future. I believe to get the most out the college experience you must know where you ultimately want to be headed. College is very competitive. I believe planning ahead and staying atop of things will give you the upper hand and a slight edge over the competition.

When I think of what the future has to hold I begin to think of where I see myself after college. That includes things such as my dream job. The "Dream Job" activity gave me reassurance and confirmed once again the job I see in my future. In the future I see myself pursuing a job as a fashion public relations specialists. If I could combine my passion with a 9-5 this would definitely be it. The completion of college will allow my dream job to become more realistic to obtain. The future is very much unpredictable, who knows what the future will have to offer in the years to come!
