I believe that every individual holds the power to change, making you the "expert" in your own life. Our thoughts and how we choose to process our thoughts, cause the way we act and feel about situations. Change occurs when we learn how to think differently, then our actions and feelings will follow. I enjoy working with clients dealing with PTSD, anxiety, stress, substance abuse and mood disorders, depression, grief & loss, current or past traumas, communication issues, and family or relationship issues, etc. Let's work together to explore your concerns and set goals to help you reach beyond your current expectations!

I have provided mental health services for over 13 years, with more than nine years as a mental health counselor throughout North Carolina. For over four years, I provided mental health services to high risk youths, juvenile sex offenders, and severely and emotionally disturbed youths with developmental and learning disabilities within residential treatment settings in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
