Tamar Elderton-Welch

Hello and welcome to my page!

I am freelance copywriter and academic researcher with over four years experience in the publishing world. I have recieved Press Association training in Layout Design, Photography, Feature Writing, Interview Technique, Proofing and Subbing and advanced Photoshop and Quark training.

Since starting my career as an Assistant Editor for John Lewis publication 'The Chronicle', I have gone on to write copy for elearning projects, SEO optimised content for websites and an industry blog.

As for the academic side, my doctoral reasearch (University of London) has led me down the rabbit-hole into the fascinating world of lay piety in Roman Egypt. The results of my thesis will shortly be published (for those wishing to know more about ancient ritual and magic), so watch this space for more details.
