Newport News, Virgina

Tamika L. Foster was born in Newark, NJ and earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University – Newark. In July of 2010, she stepped out on faith and the intangible promises of Jeremiah 29:11 and relocated to Newport News, Virginia.

An author with Aquarius Creations Publishing, Tamika has written a book of relatables appropriately titled “Life’s Lessons Learned from a Puzzle” where she writes the lessons learned from God about life while piecing together a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. She is currently working on three projects: “Pillow Talk”, a 365-day relatable titled “A Relatable Journey: 365 Days on the Yellow Brick Road” as well as “There’s Something In The Beans”; another book in which God speaks to her through a puzzle.

Tamika is a motivational speaker whose purpose is to encourage, inspire and remind people that we were created for purpose and we not only have a right, but a responsibility to walk in that purpose. A woman who believes whole-heartedly that even in the midst of struggle peace is always within reach because of the hope God promises throughout His word.

Tamika is in the process of organizing a non-profit organization, Puzzle Peace Ministries, where the mission is to inspire and encourage individuals of all ages not only to pursue their life’s purpose, but to walk in that purpose with hope, joy, and the peace that surpasses all understanding!

Tamika loves visiting aquariums, museums, and reading books that not only stimulate her mind, but her spirit as well. In her spare time, she loves writing and really enjoys questioning God on the miraculous things He’s done in her life that she never thought possible. The conversation usually starts and ends with her simply saying, “For real Lord?!”
