Hey, I’m David. I’m a Truck Driver living in Maricopa, Arizona. I first obtained my Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in 1990, when I was 19 years old. It wasn't until I passed the permit test that I found out I was too young to drive over state lines! However, I still went to school, and passed the skills tests to get my CA CDL. I got two driving jobs in SoCal and then lost interest. At the time, local driving jobs didn't pay very well. I did other things for a while and let my CDL lapse.

In 2003, the driving bug bit me again. I applied and was accepted into Schneider National's school program, passed, and received my AZ CDL. For a little over 2 years, I worked Western Regional and a couple of dedicated accounts in Phoenix.

I then changed jobs and started driving a fuel tanker truck in Phoenix. I stayed with that company for over 13 years, as both a driver and a dispatcher.

I left the industry in 2019 and spent two years in consumer fraud recovery for a major bank. However, the driving bug was still there, and in May of 2021 I went back to driving with my current company and love it!

I deliver aviation fuel products in the Southwestern US.
