I teach fiction writing online through UCLA Extension Writing Program, Writers.com, Writers College, and Online Writing Academy. MA from FSU, MFA from Iowa Writers Workshop and taught at those schools as well as at Memphis State.

200 stories in magazines and anthologies, like Strange Little Girls, Holdfast, Zymbol, NonBinary Review,Unlikely Stories, Colorado Quarterly. My newest book is a recursive Slipstream novella from ELJ Publications that explores physics, scrying, and dysmorphia. Nearly 100 poems, as well as articles, artwork and photography have been published.

My focus these days is Psychological Suspense in the series The Agents of the Nevermind, which explores the delusions Intelligence agents create for the populace. I also blog about overcoming gullibility. http://engineeringofsociety.blogspot.com/

I enjoy learning about the world, nature, walking, dancing, organic life-style, humor, absurd play. I'm interested in the history and delusions of esoterica, methods of social engineering (macro-manipulation), science, implications of advanced technology, hoaxes and cults, machinations behind the scenes.

I've lived an adventuresome life, like co-habitating with bears and sea-lions on the Oregon coast and a cave in the mountains of Colorado, but now am tamed, living in the Bay area for years, near my beloved son. Proud to have gotten the chance to know rural Alabama out thanks to the family homestead, and co-owned an art gallery in that state.

I love the down-to-earth community of people exchanging services, exploratory movement modalities, playful fun, wild dances, cob houses, and fierce wildness.
