Taraz State University by Mkh. Dhulaty

TarSU, which has been named after M.Kh.Dulaty,

was established in March of 1998 on the base

of three Universities: Zhambul University,

Zhambul Institute of Irrigation, Land Reclamation

and Construction and Zhambul Technological Institute

of Light and Food Industry. This year the university is going

to celebrate its 50-th anniversary. There are more than 530 teachers

work at the University. There are 28 doctors, professors,

206 candidates and docents. Among - them there are famous people

not only in our country, but in foreign countries too. There are 8 faculties

in TarSU. They are: economics and business, law, ecology and building,

petroleum and gas, water resources, energetics and transport,

humanitarian-social sciences, engineering and technical specialities,

the faculty of distance and correspondent teaching. In the above mentioned

faculties there are 10000 students study in 57 specialities. The specialists of

our univer­sity are in great demand nowadays.
