Creative, talented, and passionate about music, Tara Low created Guitar It Up for Girls (www.guitaritupforgirls.com), an innovative company that sells guitars and accessories that are made just with girls and young women in mind.

As part of this venture, I have also started an ezine, Guitar Girl Magazine (www.guitargirlmag.com), which shares the latest and greatest news on everything a rock n' roll girls want to know. Tara prides herself on her company's impeccable customer service. Her team is devoted to helping girls find the right guitar for their individual needs. Knowing that women are often overlooked or treated with indifference in the guitar retail industry, Tara tries hard to give her customers the ultimate respect and the attention that they deserve. Tara is the mother of four children and has always been heavily involved in music. She played violin and cello and was an accomplished dancer who used to perform across the country. Her husband Ted, a guitarist, helped her to instill their love of music into their children who grew to become musicians themselves, each in their own way.

Tara is now determined to instill music appreciation into young women through her store. Throughout the years, she rarely saw women musicians playing the instruments that were typically used in popular music. She realized that catering to young girls could empower them in a new way.
