Tariq Alexander The System Within

Accomplished entrepreneur Tariq Alexander has spent his life establishing himself in the entertainment industry. As a model, he has been featured in Vogue, Esquire, and GQ Magazine; as a songwriter, he has signed with EMI Music; and as a writer, producer, and actor, he has created two commercially successful feature-length films. Presently, Tariq Alexander serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The System Within (TSW), an international network he founded in 2000 to connect and create opportunity for aspiring performers, producers, and other talent within the industry. The System Within has since grown to include two million member clients who use the affinity group to showcase their talents and promote their careers.

Having successfully created a platform for entertainers to network, Mr. Alexander has expanded The System Within to include four subsidiaries. TSW Place offers members the opportunity to connect with those working in the entertainment industry. The group also hosts TSW World, a more exclusive networking venue that offers access to industry leaders, including successful entrepreneurs both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as well as those offering opportunities for product placement. Beyond his innovative work with The System Within, Tariq Alexander also supports several philanthropic causes, particularly those dedicated to African-Americans in need. An active advocate for eradicating social injustices, such as harsh federal sentencing laws that affect underprivileged minorities, he founded Project 87, an organization that seeks to facilitate progressive legislation. A motivational speaker as well, he believes strongly in educating today's American youth about history while also preserving heritage.
