WE ARE ONE is a music collaboration initiative created to combat extreme poverty and homelessness within our cities. We are building the foundations of an international charitable movement comprised of music and media professionals from different countries. Our aim is to use our music and media skills as a tool in order to help vulnerable and destitute people who try to survive in dire conditions within our cities, sometimes even within our very neighborhoods. Some renowned rock and metal artists have already joined our ranks, but we have extensive participation by upcoming artists and bands as well. We’re injecting a lot of young blood into this, including and showcasing some fantastic upcoming talent.

WE ARE ONE introduces a different approach when compared to traditional charitable endeavors, both in concept and overall implementation. Our effort is specifically designed to help and to provide support for small extreme poverty charities in different regions. There are many selfless people out there who run homeless shelters and soup kitchens, people who do some great work with minimal help and resources. Those small hard-working local charities already have a valid and working infrastructure in place within their respective cities. We don't aim to replace those experienced people, or their tried and tested local infrastructures. We want to support their valiant efforts and also to maintain their existing setup and to build upon it, so more aid can reach more vulnerable people faster.

This is the underlying concept behind WE ARE ONE. Our effort is all about going back to basics, while avoiding the monolithic ways that sometimes define large charitable organizations these days.

WE ARE ONE also introduces a new charitable concept: A unified framework of interconnected charitable live events, happening in different cities as our international network expands. The events will be self-reliant, each one tapping on local talent, manpower and resources. Proceeds from those events will always be distributed locally, with each event coordinator supporting small extreme poverty charities within their region.
